Do you ever feel like Scottie stuff finds you everywhere you go (and you just have to snatch it all up before somebody else does!)? Recently, we found ourselves at Broad Street Antique Mall in Chamblee, Ga. We weren't looking for Scottie stuff but the Scottie stuff sure found us! We discovered Scottie figurines, stuffed animals, bookends and more ranging in price from $25 to $150 each. That's a lot of doggie loot! Tell us: what antique Scottie items have you found and fallen in love with?
What a fine collection! We have a friend who has collected Scottie 'stuff' for years - we add to it whenever we find something.

ReplyDeleteWe don't get a lot of Scottie stuff here in South Africa, so when mom does find something she snaps it right up!

Way to many I am afraid to say. The one I love the most comes from FDR era. A little Fala in cast iron which sits on a little wooden round base made of all different types of wood. I have never seen one like it ~ it is a paper weight. Last count I had over one hundred scotty things.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

We have a couple of big iron doorstops. Otherwise, we have mostly new scottie stuff. But you're right. It seems to jump out at you!
